Sodexo is seeking a Senior Executive Chef 3 - University Dining for Illinois Wesleyan University located in Bloomington, IL . Illinois Wesleyan is in the top 2.9% of colleges and universities in the nation for promoting social mobility (moving children from the bottom fifth of incomes as students to the top fifth of incomes as adults). Located in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, combined population about 130,000, we're midway between Chicago, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri.
As the Campus Chef - you will oversee all culinary operations for Residential Dining, Retail Operations and Catering. Strong administration, organization and client relations skills are necessary at this management level.

Successful candidates will have the knowledge of HACCP and safety standards, ability to control cost of goods and train staff on proper standards. Candidates should also have working knowledge of scheduling, cost control and food service operations. Seeking candidates with the ability to drive and foster an innovative team while managing high volume, and ability to work well with management team and staff.
The successful candidate will:
be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
