Looking for a change of scenery? Our unit out at USMC MCALF Bogue is the heart of the Marine Corps and we are looking for an experienced food operations manager like you, to join our team!
Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 for the Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field / Mess Hall 8052 located in Bogue, NC . This unit is unique, as it is located in between Cape Carteret and Morehead City, NC and just down the road from the Emerald Isle bridge. We pride ourselves with the best customer service as we treat our Marines and Sailors like family. We are a Monday - Friday operation serving 3 meals a day with weekends and holidays off.
We are looking for candidates who will:
Oversee the food service program;
have excellent communication skills;
create a positive environment; and
ensure Sodexo Standards are met.
The successful candidate will:
have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
have basic culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
have the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
prefer ServSafe certification

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
