Sodexo is seeking a Retail Cafe Manager for Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania .The Retail Cafe Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Café. Penn State Holy Spirit is a 318-bed acute care hospital that includes state of the art Heart Center, Behavioral Health Unit, Long Care Acute unit and Level 2 Trauma Unit that is part of the Penn State System. Holy Spirit has At Your Request - Room Service Program for patients, Offers 2 Retail Venues and an upscale Catering Program.
We are looking for candidates who will:
have oversight of day-to-day operations;
deliver high quality food for cafeteria and branded outlets;
achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
ensure Sodexo Standards are met.
Ensures facility and equipment is in good working order
Conduct weekly safety walks and monthly employee safety in-service trainings
Assist with retail outlet product inventory and ordering
Responsible for annual evaluation and goals for retail employees including; Food and Physical Safety and HACCP record keeping.
The ideal candidate:
has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
Demonstrated experience leading and engaging a team and exceptional human resource and supervisory/management skillset.
Ability to multitask and proven effectiveness in a high-standards driven environment.
Ability to successfully lead, develop and train a team.Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) as well as exceptional organizational skills.
Servsafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP

Basic Management Experience - 1 year
