Sodexo Food Production Manager 1 in COOS BAY, Oregon

Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager for Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, OR . The Food Production Manager will supervise the food and culinary operations including patient dining, retail food service and catering. The Food Production Manager will work hands on to support a team of 25 employees and will collaborate with other leaders of the department and hospital.

The schedule will be primarily Monday to Friday 12pm-8:30pm. The salary range is $24/hr-$26/hr depending upon experience with a full benefits package that kicks in immediately.

The successful candidate will:

  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff

  • provide stellar customer service

  • oversee closing procedures and assist with culinary production

  • ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • at least 1 year of supervisory experience in the food service industry

  • a culinary focused background is preferred

  • possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service

  • exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
