Sodexo is #HiringNow for our Director of Facilities atJackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi (https://www.jsums.edu/) *RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE! * Our successful candidate will be responsible for managing a complex budget and a team of approximately 20, overseeing Grounds, Custodial, and Hard FM services managing over 800K square ft. of building space and 10+ acres. This position will enjoythe opportunity to help elevate service to our client partners in the campus setting.

Experience managing facilities services for higher education, campus administrators, with complex Integrated FM experience and demonstrated client influence are required for success in the role. If you have excellent interpersonal relationship and networking skills, and are process oriented with strong financial acumen, this could be the role for you!

Does your resume reflect your ability to increase morale, identify and develop front line talent? Are you an expert at process improvement with 3rd party contract experience? Key Responsibilities:

Combine your proven leadership and Facilities Management technical expertise to enhance client IFM programs including planning, construction and renovation projects, preventative and corrective maintenance, energy management, grounds and landscaping, and janitorial service.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) is a plus

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields is preferred

  • Exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills

  • Strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building

  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen with a strong P&L understanding

  • A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments

  • Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape and energy management
