Sodexo has a great growth opportunity for a Chef Manager at Paul's Run Retirement Community , an upscale continuing care retirement community located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . The Chef Manager will oversee daily kitchen operations and manage a staff of approximately 15 hourly employees. Typical shift will be 11:00 am - 7:30 pm; flexibility to work every other weekend is required in this role.
The successful candidate will:
cook 60-70% of the time;
oversee food quality and presentation;
monitor temperature logs and HACCP for sanitation;
exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits; and/or
perform functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.
