Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to provide inpatient nutrition care at Winchester Hospital , part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System. Winchester Hospital is a 229-bed acute care hospital providing compassionate healthcare services in the northwest suburban Boston area.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

• provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in med/surg and/or critical care units;

• be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification;

• work rotating weekends and holidays providing hospital-wide coverage;

• be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process;

• complete assigned quality improvement/PI and special projects;

• mentor and train staff and dietetic interns;

• assist with food service management as needed;

• participate in hospital-wide meetings and committees; and

• efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

• Registered Dietitian credential, or are RD eligible (must obtain an RD credential within 30 days of hire);

• excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups;

• strong verbal and written communication skills;

• strong time management skills; and

• the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
